Position: Prevention Specialist
 

The Grove Counseling Center seeks a Prevention Specialist to provide a prevention curriculum in an elementary school environment.
 
This educator provides our "Drugs, Violence and Safety" curriculum at a single Title I school, integrating into the school environment as a resident expert on issues of wellness and prevention.
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree and have at least one year of experience in an elementary-aged classroom environment.
 
Compensation: $20,930 annually (summers off, Winter and Spring Break) + benefits package

Position: Summer Camp Behavior Specialist
 

The Grove seeks a Behavior Specialist to provide services at
our summer camp in Sanford, Sunshine Grove. Each Behavior Specialist will have a case load of four elementary-aged children with mental health needs, including ADHD and autism. The Behavior Specialist will provide an at-home assessment for the enrolled child, and then work closely with the children in a camp environment, integrating them into the groups' activities. 

Assessments take place between June 1st and 24th. 

Camp is five weeks, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.

June 24th through July 26th 

Behavior Specialists must have at least one year of experience working with children with behavioral and mental health disorders.
Compensation: $13/hour

Position: Part Time Expressive Arts Education
Work within our Arts in Action prevention program providing an evidence-based curriculum to upper elementary and lower middle school students. With the facilitation of expert instructors, students will create original issues-based pieces in response to the topics explored in the curriculum. The instructor will work a series of one-week day camps - the weeks of June 10th, June 17th, July 29th and August 5th. The ideal candidate has a theatre/improvisation or dance/movement background and has experience connecting the arts to social problems. 
 
Compensation: $11/hour

Position: Part Time Cook
 
Part time cook needed to serve adolescents at The Grove Academy, residential treatment campus. Needed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 2pm and 6pm; Wednesday 1pm to 6pm; Saturday and Sunday a must from 6am to 6pm. The ability to maintain a flexible schedule is preferred.
 
Compensation: $8/hour.

Direct Care Staff Member needed to serve adolescents at The Grove Academy, residential treatment campus. Must have a passion for at-risk youth and a flexible schedule.
